I think I take for granted how important elecrticity is in my everyday life. A few towns over there are people with no electricity due to a wind storm and have to live in shelters because they have no water, heat, or lights.

The use of my car. It was down over the weekend, and I was starting to worry about it not being fixed by Monday. Thank goodness it was : )
I know what you mean about taking some of these things for granted. Doing without does make one more appreciative, I will agree with that.

I think that most people (including myself) take the fact that we can get out of bed every morning for granted. It's a miracle that we wake up healthy everyday. You know that saying "live everyday to the fullest, you never know when it could be your last", I think that I need to start doing that.

Everything...considering that there are so many people in this world that live in extreme poverty and have absolutely nothing.
We have it so good and we take it for granted.

I never really think how lucky we are to have indoor plumbing.
And thank God for toilet paper.
