I drive a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport (four-door). Whenever I have a car-load of people (4-5) and it's winter, I typically get foggy windows inside the car.

Is there anyway to prevent this from happening? Or is there some type of cleaner or solution I can put on the windows to prevent it.

I can always crank the heat on the defroster and get it off the front window, but the door windows are always hard to see through.

Serious responses only, please. Thanks!

Try keeping the A/C turned on with the temperature set to whatever temperature is comfortable. The A/C will actually dehumidify the interior air and if you have a reticulate air option that helps even more. On American cars the reticulate is usually the A/C Max setting. Of course this is all contingent on whether you have A/C if not then I don’t know what to tell you, but hopefully on a 2000 Sport you do. Mine did, but then I bought it in Texas.

I have had this same problem with my 2 cars. My side window is fine its odd only the passenger windows do this along with back window. I've tried auto glass sprays, windex, just water, nothing worked yet. I think I'm going to go to the eye doctor and buy some of the spray you can spray your glasses with to stop them from fogging up.Since its the inside of the window it should stay there and not wash off. This is my idea can't garuntee it works.

If you have foggy windows inside the vehicle then you may have a bad "heater core". Check the carpetting and see if it's damp.
Especially on the passenger side. When the core goes bad it leaks coolant into the vehicle. Very common problem.

you need to turn your defroster on a higher speed, if it gets too warm just turn the temp down. the key is to keep air circulating on the windows...
