I just sent out a typed agreement for a Business Partnership. Small Investment. Both parties have signed the agreement, is it now...legal? Or, MUST it be stamped by a notary, or attorney. Thanks

A legal document is one that is made in accordance with the prevailing laws and is binding on all parties. So long as the transaction is LEGAL within the scope of the law and all parties have agreed to be bound by it, then it is legal....

A notary is merely a witness to the attestations made by the parties. You can get it notarized if need be (some docs do require it eg purchase contracts and so forth). An attorney merely makes sure that the terms & conditions as provided in the agreement are in accordance with applicable laws i.e. you can't contract for an illegal activity etc.

You signed a business agreement without letting an attorney look at it? not a good idea
