I used to use bear share for free but now I had to subscribe. I'm paying a monthly fee but the majority of the songs must be bought for .99 each in addition to the m,onbthly fee. Are there any sites to download and burn a wide variety of music for free? If not free which site is the best, both for music and price?

I suggest using torrent's to download. The nice thing about this is that most torrent sites, you are downloading entire CDs instead of single songs, which I normally prefer. Limewire is infested with spyware and crap that it's hard to use. I'm sure a lot of torrent sites are too, but it hasn't been as bad on my computer. You need to download a bittorrent first. I reccoment Azureus or ABC (another bit torrent). ONce you have one of the website that is commonly used is www.thepiratebay.org

A good free site for movies, games, music and software is www.phazeddl.com , just be careful of viruses, make sure you have a good virus program running if you go there. I pay for a music site which i think is really good, its 360share, i paid $25 for a lifetime unlimited membership.

limewire is good for free downloads. You can either get the basic which is free or get the upgraded package for around $20.00.

limewire.com....look for the right one though bcuz if u just search for limewire u'll come to websites that say u have to subscribe to limewire...keep looking and u'll find the right website where u just download it w/o subscription....plus if u do get it, u have to get spyware for the viruses
