I was wondering how much to advertise nationally or regionally during the day. Is this an question that can be answered. I just want a rough price or price range of what packages start at.

Depends on the channel, the geographic area to be covered and what programmes are on when you want the advert to be aired.

Obviously, during Coronation Street would be more expensive than in the middle of whatever is on at 2.00am.

Ring you local ITV station and enquire. The company that I work for recently aired ads during the 6.00 evening news (local) and that cost them £100,000 (or so they told us).

Bet you could pick up the graveyard shift for a few grand.

Research has suggested that £ for £, advertising on radio is more cost effective. People have radios on at work, in their car etc. and you will probably reach more people than airing a TV ad during the day.

Ring the local radio station and find out the costs etc.

I think I heard the standard fee was in the region of £30,000, and that's not for peak time. Then, of course, there's all the expense of "making" the actual advert. Good luck if you're considering it.

Starts at a few thousand for one 30 second ad on non prime time tv - then it goes up according to what time and between which programmes it is shown. Maximum impact between say Coronation Street is firtunes xx
