I HATE IT, THAT'S WHY I'VE CHOSEN A MALE PROFESSION. WOMEN ARE RUDE, BITCHY, CONTROLLING, MANIPULATIVE, SNEAKY, ETC. -- AND I CAN SAY THIS BECAUSE I AM ONE. I HAVE A FEW FEMALE FRIENDS, BUT I TEND TO DO MUCH BETTER WHEN ASSOCIATED WITH MEN. MUCH EASIER TO DEAL WITH.

I've worked in settings where it was mostly women, and I loved it! I enjoyed the camaraderie, it was more relaxed, and if you were having a "bad day" (ya know) you knew they would understand. When I worked in more mixed setting, the sexual harassment from the men had me constantly on edge. There was the guy who loved giving "massages," the one who was constantly commenting on my physical appearance (my body, etc.) and the one who believed that women shouldn't have "jobs" at all. (I'm not saying all guys are like this, this was just my experience.) Fortunately, that was a transient position for me while I worked on my masters, and I've since gone back to a job were there are slightly more women, and the men are a lot more progressive. I guess everyone's experiences are different.

I detest 2 types of women: The insecure frumps, and the Brown nosers. These women cause most of the office drama in this world, and its pathetic how so much drama goes on because it proves to certain men (woman haters) that women are stupid and need to be lead by men. This is infuriating for those of us who just want to do our jobs and have a pleasant none stressfull work environment.

Like you, I much prefer working with men. It is not so much that I hate other women, I just prefer a working environment sans the drama. Most women that I've worked with, and mind you, I am one, seem to treat the work place as a social gathering.

What you said is so very true, it's sad. I have very few women friends because of that very fact. They are petty, dramatic, gossiping back biters and its hard to find a good female friend. Luckily I have just a handful of good ones, but for the most part I have male friends. They don't give you dirty looks, you don't have to worry about what they are going to say about you when you leave the room and they aren't that emotional.

Hate to admit it because I am a woman but working with men is a bigger pleasure than our own species. I work in a store and there is nothing but gossip. We have drama queens, jealous queens, PMS queens, underworked queens and overworked queens. At 74 I try and avoid them all. I no longer have patience to deal with it all.

Your are correct..
Women don't really hate other women but working with
a bunch of women does present its own unique set of problems.
I suppose "small minded, shallow, self-centered, egocentric, rigid, gossipy" and a number of other words come to mind in describing the all female workforce.
I do however, love women...

Sadly there are women who hate other women. My daughter has never met a woman she liked, including me, her mom. I personally don't get it but I hear about it all the time.

I'm not particularly fond of other women either, they are too nasty, petty and catty for me. However, I don't hate anyone. I just try to get along without compromising myself in any way.

Its in a women's nature to be against and suspicious of other women. for millions of years they have been that way because other women might take there mate, its in there dna..they feel threatened.that instinct Will never go away. unless they have the spirit of God in there hearts. Just be yourself and don't pay them any mind.is my suggestion.& try to forgive it only hurts you to keep resentments. Peace
