It does seem that he understood that brutal force was needed to keep peace in a land that few outsiders perhaps knew much about, perhaps the current Iraqi government should recall a few pointers,and begin to put these people back in their places....

Why would they "go quietly"?Countries like America and Britain's history is comprised of occupying and tyrannising weaker countries.
Install Saddam back in his palace??perhaps you should actually learn a bit about Iraq before making such ignorant statements...because obviously this could never happen.
Don't support the war on Iraq.

I don't know who this Sadam person is you suggest be install in his palace and that this Sadam has his own palace but if it would reduce the killing ... well may so.
But let's make sure that the mass murderer who has been sentence to death...SaDDam never returns to power.
