Share it with him and let him know your feelings. Assuming he will be sensitive to them, you will feel more secure that he knows and supports your request instead of hiding it from him. He probably knows more than you think already.

Odds are he already has noticed the skin condition. He's just being polite because he probably senses your insecurity about it.
How sweet is that. Tell him you have a problem odds are he will listen, explain why you feel uncomfortable, talk about it Hey you have a lifetime together, there will be many other situations bigger then this so learn to talk and share now. Enjoy the friendship of being a couple your not dating anymore, you don't need to impress him with looks(although keeping up on appearence does help) enjoy this marriage so he can be your best friend and someone you don't have to impress. He loves you or he wouldn't have married you trust in this.
Don't shut him out with problems ,share problems and solve things together. That's whats so wonderful about the word commitment. I'm sure he will be supportive and you will be more comfortable.

Well Laura: To start with, was this the reason he married you, your looks totally? if so, your in trouble. It's better to be truthful and get it over with so your own nervous state will relax.
If he feels cheated then you'll have to decided who gets what and go your separate ways.
Wouldn't it be better to get this out of the way now and get out while your still young, and have a chance with someone that will accept you. Or, do you think you've been cheating yourself?
Just maybe you've been wrong and you can finally relax, don't you think, don't underestimate your mate or underrate him.

You're husband has never seen you without makeup?
You are probably mistaken about that. You need to believe that he loves you for what's under the skin. Then its not a problem.

How long have you been married? I have a lot of imperfections. From my flabby arms to my big nose! I can't say my husband LOVES 'em but he accepts them. If I complain about those imperfections, he makes suggestions which do not offend me. Bottomline, you have to address your bizarre insecurity, as you put it. Don't be afraid. He's your husband, not your prom date.

I think he'd rather have you blotchy and relaxed than made up and insecure.
Mention that you don't like your skin. Bet you 5 bucks (if I'm wrong I'll fax it to you) he'll be OK. If he loves you, this is no big deal.
Now go wash that stuff of your face and start living!

So that he does not get the wrong idea, I would tell him of my fears. I probably would continue with this habit because it makes you feel more secure, but by telling him, at least he would know why you do that!

You are going to make him feel like he is doing something wrong. You need to tell him about your insecurities and I am sure he is going to tell you, you are beautiful no matter what.
