Cancer and Aquarius - good match or not?

Question

I'm not huge on horoscopes but I am a bit curious as my boyfriend and I are apparently supposed to have developed an allergic rash to one another and yet we get alojng like a house on fire...

Any theories I might be interested in are welcome here...

I'm Aquarius and every Cancer man I've dated has been a compulsive liar and a cheater--complete dogs and sluts. My mom is a Cancer though and she's faithful, considerate, sweet, and caring.
