Tom tom one, the latest version is around £200 (less if you shop around), that works just like any other sat nav, and it does the speed - sorry Safety Camera Database, mines never let me down, cant fault it really - what surprises me is why some people pay £500-£600 for other models - do they get you somewhere any quicker? i doubt it.

Ive Got a TOM TOM and although its good for me screen wise it does take you around the houses a bit. My fella has a NavMan, the screen is not as easy but route wise i find it better. Why not pop into your local Halfords and they will be able to give you a demo and some info..

My mates daughter works for a well known electrical retailer. She worked in customer service. She told me that Tom Tom were the worst firm to deal with concerning faults, returns etc. They refused to believe that their euipment was faulty and would always blame user error and not repair or refund.
