Would you "wire" £200 to a Yahoo "friend", that you have never actually met, if they emailed you to say thay had been mugged and lost all thier money, passports, etc, and were stuck in Geneva trying to get back to Spain.

I did nearly sent it by WU. But then thought twice. I then got a very nasty email when I said that I couldn't send it. I had been "messaging" this person for over six months and the 360 page looked genuine. It could have been true, there is no way of telling tho.

360 pages blind copied to 1000 people, getting 200 pounds from each one of them, is 72,000,000 pounds. not bad for one email and a bit of spare time!

Oh you really had me going then. This is your next trick. See how many positives you get then try it out. Beware all you Yahoo people who answer 'yes' to this one. ! ! ! ! 10/10 for trying.

On the other hand if it is genuine question and it was you that was asked for the £200, then definitely NO. There are too many people out there who are cheats and liars and who have no conscience and who are too willing to take advantage of other people, whatever the consequences. Politely but firmly say "NO".

NO!!!! You've never met this person, they could be anyone so unless you have £200 to throw away, politely decline. The internet is so anonymous people can pretend to be anyone or anywhere they like. Be cautious and if they really in trouble, let them call on someone who knows exactly who they are.
