I think Ponting is in the prime of his life right now.
Barring injuries he will have another 5 years in the game. I have looked up stats to see centuries per year.
1997 - 2
1999 - 4
2000 - 1
2001 - 2
2002 - 5
2003 - 6
2005 - 6
2006 - 7
So since 2002 he has 24 centuries in 5 years (including 0 in 2004).
My predictions -
1 more in 2006
2007 - 6
2008 - 5
2009 - 5
2010 - 3
2011 - 1
That would make another 21 - 55 for his career.
