Does this mean it will become a giant, radioactive bug? If so, would I have to put a spider in the microwave to make a giant radioactive spider to stop the giant, radioactive housefly from wreaking havoc on humanity. And if so, would I have to create another giant radioactive monster to stop the giant, radioactive spider? This is like something straight out of a Godzilla movie.

Put housefly into microwave, turn it on high for ten minutes. It will cook from inside first, then it will blow up inside the microware and make a terrible mess of yukie stuff all over the top, bottom and sides of the microwave. Clean microwave before using.

A microwave oven releases long wavelengths. This is immediately transformed into heat energy. You CANNOT mutate DNA with microwaves! You need short wavelengths like gamma rays, X rays or UV rays.

I've got this really cool idea. We could build a large mw oven, right into your shower, that way, when you are finished washing off all the BS, you can flick the swich and presto! Instant dry or something like that. Save us all alot of grief....Whadda ya think?

your microwave does not make things radioactive, dumbass. radioactivity is a particle emission from an unstable element, such as uranium. radiation is energy emitted in an outward direction. your cell phone emits radiation. radio and tv stations emit radiation. a light bulb emits radiation. your microwave emits the same radiation as your cell phone or your light bulb, the only difference is the frequency. the lowest frequency would be radio stations, in the thousands and millions of cycles per second, then your microwave frequency in the billions, and then the light bulb, frequency in the trillions. Go back to watching TV and stop worrying your little brain about such things as flies in your microwave.

Oh, by the way, don't use the microwave to dry your cat, it makes a huge mess.
