People say that Michael Richards was out of line, but look at the tape, the black guys he insulted went down to his level and used racial slurs at him too. People will argue that Cracker and ****.er aren't the same, yes they are. They are both words used as racial slurs, simple as that. I know Jesse Jackson wanted to eliminate that word from the English language, but in all fairness, Blacks are the ones that use it all too often, how will he get them to stop using it. Now the black guy that was with Jesse said that because of the incident with Michael, he stopped using the word all together. Oh wow, so all of a sudden he feels the word is degrading, funny how he didn't think so when he used it in his songs. If everyone wants the "N" word to dissapear, then blacks have to set the example and stop using it. They are no victims, they are their worst enemy.

First off, Jesse Jackson stated that he wanted EVERYBODY to stop use of the word. Do actual research, rather than regurgitating biased hearsay. Second, I don't act like a victim. Michael Richards was wrong for what he did, why should he NOT be held accountable? He stated "50 years ago, you'd be hanging from trees with forks up your (bleep)s" and "That's what you get for interrupting a white man". What did the hecklers say anywhere near that?

What is the point of this argument; blacks should just bend over and take it? Michael Richards should be just up and forgiven, while Mel Gibson nearly killed his career for a drunken rant not even an iota as vicious as Richards? Please, explain to me the purpose of this question, because I find this to be nothing more than a waste of space.

I think the Blacks are now Victimizing the Whites...

They have so made things where even the whites cant do anything without worrying about racism.... My son's school has turned more and more Black as the majority race. I don't care either way, but when I am seeing and hearing racial statements from the principal and teachers directed to the minority of whites in the school, makes you wonder...

As far as Jesse Jackson, He is a false prophet. He says one thing and does something else. He does not want to stop the racism. He would lose his financing of the rainbow coalition.
The "N" word is used millions times more often from blacks to blacks or blacks to white then the other way around.

If they do not stop the racial turmoil, there will be a racial civil war. I am tired of preference to blacks because they are black. I am tired of preference to Hispanic because they are Hispanic.
Racism is WRONG no matter how the pie is sliced!

Your question of the victim mentality affecting minorities. Yes I'm very tired of it everytime they have the opportunity to cry foul they do. Which in turn leads everyone to believe they cry wolf. And then when the wolf does come the cries are useless. I'm saddend by ignorance of some in country, regardless of color. Blacks shouldn't be using the "N" word no matter how long its been it'll never have a positive meaning. And the sad thing is blacks that rise up and gain knowledge. Are no longer black; they are called the white guy, or oreo. I was told by a confederate flag flying racist. He liked me because I wasn't a welfare "N" word. (We serve together in the military) The sad fact of the world is no matter what it will always be black and white for some. And I feel for my daughter who is mixed between the two. (black & white) Micheal Richards was wrong but hes human and entitled to his beliefs in this country. Whatever they might be... But until Affirmitative Action is gone, Jesse is gone, Al Sharpton is dead (Ranting & Raving Idiot).. This line and debate will always be present. Until the day we stop protecting the rights of those that would preach hate.

every "Minority" is slurred against at one point or another by someone. It doesn't matter what color or ethnic race you are there will always be someone who doesn't like you or who will use it against you. To this day our generation of Germans are still being blamed for Hitlers insane ideas, even though our parents were only children at the time and didn't even know what he was doing. The same goes for all ethnic groups at some point in history they did something and are still being blamed for it today even though it wasn't there generation that did it. Woman are called b i t c h es and fatherless children are called b a s t e r d s. There will always be someone who is prejudiced against someone else but will find it ok to put there own kind down at the same time and find it perfectly acceptable.

I agree with you totally. You do know the meaning of the word "cracker" don't you? I mean the real definition from the old days. The word cracker was used by the blacks to describe the whites that used to whip them with those old leather whips. Cracker came from the crack noise made by the whip. So, when a black calls you a cracker they are basically calling you the guy who used to whip there ancestors with a leather whip. Hmmm...not too much of an insult in my book.

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are David Duke's brothers-- all three have the same goal--racial disunity.

BTW, Political Correctness supports racists and terrorists

Yes. If everyone wants to be treated as equals then they should act like equals. Take away all of the special grants and privileges allowed to people unless it is based on disabilities and let them do it on their own. Also take the question of race off all government forms. God made all of us and it was our forefathers that treated people badly not us. There is always going to be hate when a wound is allowed to fester. Granny's stop putting your kids to bed with the ritual of the big bad white guy just waiting to do them wrong. You are brainwashing them and then the cycle is repeating itself. Cut us some slack. Open your hearts and give us a chance.

What a great question to send out there! i am of an ethnic background (Hispanic). If anything It makes it so much harder for good hardworking Legal citizen to feel equality in this Great country. I feel that minorities only act as victims when it is to their benefit. How can you get mad at another race for using slurs when its cool to do it with your broth as or homies? It makes me so mad because we as minorities are setting ourselves back by advocating this ignorance. In rap songs in lyrics and movies. It's not cool. The notorious N-word means in the dictionary AN UNDESIRABLE PERSON. Sorry if I'm not cool but when in the English language, whatever race you are is that something you would strive for to be. We need to educate ourselves and Take pride in our backgrounds and empower them not set them back......Actions speak louder than words and,we minorities need to be proud and fight amongest each other to quit belittling ourselves with one another behind closed doors.......

Its strange how the tables have turned and now the black race wants to scream racism over the smallest of things.Jesse Jackson can call Jews Himees[I know I spelled that wrong],and he gets away with it,Al Sharpton can spew his vomit about whites and get away with it.Black comics call white people cracker continuously on the comic channel..,we need to start fighting back just as much as they do.Everyone has the equal opportunity to make something of themselves..,you keep yourself in your own situation and when people dont want to make something of themselves, its not the govt.'s fault, its not their childehood, its their choice, live with it and stop blaming others for the choice you made.

It's odd that your screenname is Lesbian Pride Redhead.

You should be calling yourself White Supremacist Racist.

Our great grandparents never asked to come to this country, like your ancestors did - we were brought here in chains and held as unpaid labor for 300 years.

And for 100 years after that, we were second class citizens - right up until 1965.

Even today, we still get treated like garbage by White America - look at Sean Bell, a 23 year old UPS driver who was just trying to have fun at his bachelor party and got shot FIFTY TIMES by New York City police officers.

They shot him execution style - one of the detectives fired THIRTY ONE TIMES - that detective (who, do I even have to tell you, was a White man) carefully got down on one knee to fire into Bell's car and actually STOPPED TO RELOAD after he fired 16 shots - he only had one more clip, with only 15 bullets in it, if he had more, he surely would have fired more.

So, the day that you see White men getting killed like that, is the day that Blacks stop complaining about racism in America.
