True; There is a pretty good book; THE REPUBLIC; I believe which goes into exactly these types of struggles within the body. Plato (Socrates) then goes on into relating this struggle into a government and how the mind (rulers) body (commoners); etc. relate. It is actually pretty good. Take a look, and let me know ::wink::

when the body is healthy with proper upkeep the mind when it is perfectly tuned to good path to tread with both will remain in good harmony with each other and the soul a mere passive onlooker silently stand witness observing the individual remain peaceful all through his life
