child support and visitation are handled separetly in most states,,,,,, the ex should see his children unless he has been proven abusive to them, whether or not he pays support , its best for the child /children, if he is abusive, then he should still pay support and eithe not see them or have supervised visitation

Well, that depends on whether or not he's deemed unfit to have contact with them, for intance .. if a court order has been put in place because a judge agrees with you that he's detrimental to the kids well being. Otherwise, if he's not a hazard to them by spending time with them, why would you take his money and acknowledge his parenthood in that aspect, but deny it physically?

If he's truly a hazard to their well being, ignore the following. But my guess is he's not.

I am seriously tired of parents using children as ammunition. It doesn't matter in the least what you think about your ex. He is the father of your children, and THEY deserve to have both of their parents in their lives.

I'm telling you, from personal experience, putting them in the center of a tug of war will backfire on you. Your children will only resent your interference and your unwillingness to let them know their father. You are risking their well being and risking your relationship with them by doing this.

Personally, if you're willing to take his money, and accept his financial responsibility to his children, then you have an obligation to allow him to be a parent in all aspects. Let your children know their father for crying out loud.

You have to adhere to the agreement in your divorce settlement.
Unless otherwise stated, there is a legal requirement to follow the visitation agreements. What ever the court and you both agreed to is what you are supposed to do.
