all animals are greedy....you never see dogs sharing food or anything like that! We're all just trying to survive.

We are more greedy because we are more futuristic than other species. Basically greed is the result of desire coupled with future uncertainty. In order to secure our future, we accumulate today. This turns our needs into greed!

Greed usually springs from fear and insecurity. The ironic thing is that security is a chimera and no amount of money or possessions can provide it. In fact, the more you have, the more afraid you are of losing it all.
There's no such thing as "enough money."
