The listing at the International Movie Database doesn't list an editor which makes me wonder if either the director or the cinemetographer edited it themselves. It was made 1919 (released 1920) and the crew list was pretty small. I bet a lot of jobs we thinking of separate today were doubled up then.

Especially since you listed it as "by" Robert Weine when he was hired to direct it. It was really Hanz Janowitz's (one of the writers)'s baby.

(The cinematographer, BTW, was Willy Hameister)

Not only does imdb.com not list an editor - I'm not able to find an editor in German language Caligari/ W i e n e (if you have to write a report you had better check the spelling!)-sites. The film was very cheap so I agree that Wiene/Hameister probably did the editing themselves.
I also found that imdb does not list editors for most German films of approx. that time, like for instance Golem, Nosferatu, Mabuse, or even Metropolis... while editors are listed for Joyless Street - but it looks like they were NOT listed in the movie's end credits: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0015842/.
If it's very important you can ask here:

There might/should be someone who knows...
