Please read labels carefully. Some products promise to eliminate odors. Others (Lysol, Odo Ban) claim to kill germs and bacteria. Most any product you use is going to eventually cause a build-up on the carpet. Unfortunately you can successfully clean a carpet that is glued to the floor. Ask housekeeping how they solve this problem. Even ask to have an article put in the school paper.

Hi
I would recommended cleaning your carpets and using a disinfectant like Milgo SR (may need to go to a janitorial supply store for this and ask for a disinfectant for carpet) and put it in the rinse water. Deodorizers just cover up the smell for a while and disinfectant kill bacteria in the carpet.

Please DO NOT put anything on the carpet that was not made for carpet

Fabreze will mask a smell..LYSOL spray will kill the bacterial that causes the smell. OR the padding under the carpet is aged and needs to be replaced
