Good observation. Pigs nose and tongue do nat have the tissues which send the signals to their brain what are the eating. So they eat others. But they know it very well what they do so they feel shy to eat their own. But if no one is looking them they used to eat their own what they eat of others.

pigs eat others ''stuff'' cos the "stuff" has got lot of calcium, minerals and nutritions, thats why pigs opt for a balanced diet whereas when they eat their own "stuff" it doesnt contain any nutrition. lol
