Really good comp in my opinion, the best I've seen of Lampard V Gerrard
well..
Gerrard is the better midfielder, captain, and i think is the best in England's squad..then comes Lampard so 1-Gerrard and 2-Lampard
i wont deny at ALL LAMPARDS' talents..he is a very good player a very good midfielder very good in those dead ball situation but i think that in the future Gerrard will be the legend and Lampard will be the Good player..
NB:Before the world cup: maybe Lampard
Since the world cup: Gerrard, no question!

im partial to Lampard but Gerrard is a good competitor. how can you compare the two they are both so good at so many different things. but i guess ill go with Gerrard on overall.

Both are natural central players and are equally influential. But my pick would be Gerrard. He can operate as a right full back and play anywhere across the mid-field. He was even considered for a second-striker role in the World Cup 2006 campaign. He is at his best at Central Midefield though.
Lampard is equally effective at central midfield, but he played more like a shadow striker and is less versatile compared to Gerrard. Look at his games, you don't really see him playing on the flank right?
