no in the case the boy always wanted to be in love with the girl and has got a way to express it through his friendship...

Yes it's good to have both women and men friends. It's also loving when you had a crush on someone and they let you down easy because they care and they become your friend. I had a guy friend like that. Not only did he teach me something but when it came time that I didn't have feelings about a friend of his. I could take my friend aside and ask for his advice.
I learnt something from him about how not to hurt another person's feelings. He is and has been a really good friend to me because we could talk to one another about the relationships we struggled through. I have a lot respect for him because of how he treated me well. Also I think that's a reflection on how kids are raised well by their parents. :-)

of course they can! i was teased for ages coz i hang around with a guy. People kept making accusations about us going out but he already has a gf. people gave up after a while. but there is nothing wrong. you can just be friends with a guy and it doesnt have to go any further than that if you dont want it to. dont worry. men and women can just be friends. anyway, most of my friends are guys!

Yes, Usually if the man or woman is really fat and ugly and they are not attracted to eachother. Men usually cant stand fat women and women usually cant stand ugly men

although it might not seem possible, it is. I used to hang out with the guys all the time because most of the girls in my school are barbie dolls, and I don't like them. But, later on in life it will be harder to keep guys as friends because of puberty.
