Personally, I don't hate anyone. You all voted for a reformed alcoholic, drug using, draft dodging(to a point), bible thumping, self absorbed little man who has never taken responsibility for anything twice. Seems to me that if the intelligence was wrong about WMD's in Iraq, then the honourable thing to do would have been to apologize to the Iraqi people, withdraw your troops and pay for any damage you all caused. Saddam is in Iraqi custody, civil wars happen. The "war on Terror" was against Bin Laden, it has been over 5 years and he is still on the loose. Right or wrong, you all voted Bush in twice and many of you seem to feel he is a great President. Other than lie or mislead you, what has he done? Protected you all from another domestic terrorist attack? Sorry, but any fool could increase police presence at ports and airports, etc. Doesn't take a great President to do that. America is better than the lies and deceit of the past 5-6 years, start showing it. 9-11 was a monstrosity, no argument there, the terrorists deserve no mercy, no argument there either, but like a great prize fighter who took a hit, shrug it off, don't strike out blindly, Bush reminds me of Yosemite Sam, shooting blindly and hoping to hit something. Great President? By what standard? And great for who?

Great at what?
I note the recent polls still show him in the 30s. Most Americans don't think he's so great. I like our presidents to be fairly and freely elected, not appointed by the Supreme Court. Bush is a juvenile con artist. In fact I would say the midterms are a referendum on Mr Bush and his war.

People from either party line ususally find reasons to dislike presidents from the other side of the political spectrum.
Also, because of the was, many who would have simply disliked Bush because he was a Republican now hate him because they feel it is justified.

Based on? His incompetence concerning Iraq? His incompetence concerning Osama? His do-nothing policy concerning North Korea, and total negligence of Sudan? Where has he shown reason for being a "good president"?

He is a man who works for a different agenda to that of what the people want or need. He is not to be trusted, and the people who support him are not to be trusted either, not by me at least.

To each his own. Too bad he is not smart enough to stand up against those feeding him bad advice and poor policy. He is not his own man and that is his biggest weakness.
