Chips are small computer components that have a very small amount of code on them. They are used in small devices that don't need a full blown operating system. The only way I know to become a programmer is to go to school for it.

If you are asked to do chip programming and you write the song of dhoom2-"Crazy kiya re" then it is not chip programming !
It is called Cheap programming !
