Hate? about 35%
dislike a further 15%
ambivolent/don't care 25%
quite like 15%
love and admire 10%

there will always be about 20-25% generally favourable to labour and the same for the tories. That is their core and abiding thoughtless loyal supporters. They believe that the party is right no matter what.

How many labour supporters only 10 years ago, who were labelling John Major a right wing extremist, would have believed that they would be supporting an even more fascist right winger in the US? and Blair supports Bush/Cheney no matter what!

They will bend over backwards to support any policy if their party support it, and reject any policy that another party supports.

unfortunately this amounts to about 40% of the electorate.

It'd be high. Quite high. The only reason he got in last time because he was the best option out of the three available main party leaders. Most brits these days are becoming more and more apathic when it comes to voting. They might hate Tony Blair, but they hate the rest of the UK political figures just as much too, it's just that he is somehow still seen the lesser of three evils.

individuals do no longer love Tony Blair. heavily, maximum individuals do no longer even understand who Tony Blair is. we are way too self-absorbed. i'm no longer kidding. perhaps you've encountered a lot of human beings on line that like Blair, yet i'm truly effective the final public of the inhabitants does no longer be able to absolutely locate him in a lineup.

All those that work for a living and pay Gordon Browns taxes will want to see them go. The scroungers of course always vote them in because of the continual handouts they receive for doing nothing. Judging by the fact that they have been voted in for the past two elections, I would say 40% want to kick their arses out whilst the remaining losers, 60% will continue to keep them in at our expense.

It would appear to be a small minority because tony ( " we'll be nipping into Iraq for a day or two and out and home for last orders at the local WMC...job done " ) is still the boss, the man in charge and calling all the ( shots ) ......God help/save.....us.

PS. WMC is ' working mens club '
- NOT WMD ( weapons of mass destr) !!!
( there were'nt any....)

i think not that many people hate him, dislike what he is doing is more the term i would use.
as for hating him probably 10-20% of the population.
Dislike him probably 50-60% of the population.
Remember less than 30% of the entire population actually bothered to vote in the last general election.

I don't think hate is the approproate word. Few people hate him. They may disagree very strongly with his actions.
Most assuredly the British involvement with Iraq and Afghanistan is deplored and opposed by many UK voters.
Some may feel he is misguided and weak, few if they were honest would say they actually HATE him.
Its a shame that it is what he will be remembered for, Iraq etc.
Mind you people have taken their eye off other areas while disctracted by Afghanistan and the civil war in Iraq.
I am very bothered by many other issues and legislation....
