Clear Channel has its advantages. it depends on the market you are going to be in. Also i heard they have just been bought out by a private company. this could bring on a lot of changes both good and bad. At the interview ask questions just like they are doing to you. They are interviewing for an employee you are interviewing for a employer. Good luck.

I've heard both good and bad things about them.

I currently work for a radio broadcasting competitor in San Antonio, and have a few friends working with CC. If I were you I'd pursue the position and accept it as a learning experience if I were to get hired. Sales/Marketing is what has built this company. If you are successful the prospects for everything are quite good.

But you might fail. If that happens there are competitors that would probably hire you. If you go to work for them make sure you have an escape plan and some other prospects.

Pay is neither the best nor the worst in the industry.
