I lived through his disasterous time in office. My parents had a hard time financially because of his policies and the USA was at a all time low as a country. As a president, he could not make a hard decision and I do not care for how he criticizes current presidents now.

However his work for Habitat for Humanity is probably the best thing he did. Thank goodness Reagan beat him in a landslide.

I think he was a great and wise President.and very intelligent. he completely reorganized the Government.he set it up as being more of a better run government. where people could get fired quicker.he streamlined the workings of the government.he did the right thing not to invade Iran.to get the hostages back.It would have cost them there life's. he sent out a mission but it failed to get them back because some helicopters crashed.he gave control back the panama canal . it was in a treaty to do so, the Congress didn't wont to go along with him on most of his programs.he helped to get a treaty between Egypt and Israel. he kept us out of war.which is a good thing. he did a lot of good for the American people..He is a true Christian. and acted like it.I loved him.

Jimmy carter is one of the finest persons in the world, he is very honest and really cares about people. He did not fail as president allot of the things that went wrong while he was president were in the works from Nixon. Also Reagen set him up telling Iran not to release our prisinors until after the elections.Carter kept us out of war as did Clinton. We alway's get into a war when we have a republican preident, at least of late.

He was and is a good person whose deeds do much to help people.
Unfortunately most of his ideals did make him a good fit for the presidency, as philanthropy is an individuals responsibility, not the governments.

He sucked as President, but as a human doing good deeds for people he is good, then he is the first former President to spit on a guy in office so overall I give him a sucks rating.

Very little.

He was a bad diplomat when he was the president, and he's a hypocrite to judge matters of international affairs, now.

I hear he builds a good house.
