I have both close and casual friends. Some I have known for quite some time. Do you think these mostly straight people (especially the men) know that I am not straight? I've only discussed my orientation with a very few friends, and their paths do not cross.

Most people can tell. However sometimes if your friends are a bit homophobic, they may be in denial.

Unfortunately there's no definitive answer to this question.

You can judge solely based upon your actions and the actions of those who you believe do not know about your orientation. I do believe that when you have accepted your own orientation your actions will change as your level of comfort with this grows.

This doesn't mean that you will develop camp tendencies overnight but you will adopt the actions of those around you facing the same struggle who have learned to accept this. This is a subconscious defense mechanism and can't be helped.

Well I've gone quite a lot off track here but hopefully you've understood my reasoning on this... I wish you luck!

If they are really your friends they will know. My best friend is gay and he tried to hide it ever since we were teenagers. I always knew.
We connected to each other more than my female friends and he great fashion taste and i had absolutely no physical interest in him far less sexual and he is hot. So one day i asked him when he think that he was going to come clean with his parents about his sexuality. He got angry ans stormed out the room saying how could i accuse him of such a thing and then he came back and sat on the floor. He placed his head in my lap and then he asked me how long i had know.
So the moral of the story is if they really are your friends they will know you better than anyone else and they will also know that you are straight in the opposite.

When I was in my teens (long ago) none of my friends knew that I was gay, which didn't sup rise me because the majority of them thought "Gays" where short in stature and definitely feminine. I on the other hand was 6' 2", played rugby and could out drink most of them.
I took great pleasure on the look on their faces when I eventually "came out" actually I was outed but that's another story. Boy did I quickly learn who my real friends were.
So I guess it is down to the individuals belief in what gay people look and act like.

No. You are the only person that truly knows your orientation. This is what brings about homophobia. There are two words "what if" those two words lead to homophobia. Because no one is with you 24 hours a day and in this day and age, that leads others back to "what if" about your orientation.

With your close friends, I would think they do cz they knw u so well. But with your casual friends, it depends a lot on the way you move with them. Cuz if you've been hitting on any of them or even casually flirting, they might have got the hint!

Hmmm well if they were really my friends they would know because I would have told them. A better question might have been 'Do you think strangers know your sexual orientation without you telling them?' - And my answer for that would be 'no.'

do only no longer tutor any interest in the direction of adult males (I doubt you have got any problems with that). in case you're no longer mushy popping out by employing verbally pointing out it, then you definitely would desire to easily be usual and once you're asked questions approximately sexuality or in case you think of a few guy is warm or whatnot, then you definitely can supply your user-friendly solutions. i think of you will desire to easily enable human beings locate out while they ask you particular issues, only attempt to be as organic as a threat once you answer and tutor which you're effective approximately your self.

it would depend on how deeply you repress you orientation basically how well you can hide it .is there the need to hide it in your community and the lifestyle you live as well since most of your friends are straight they maybe less able to notice "gay" behaviors or traits

No I don't think they know unless your flamboyant about it. I knew a guy for many years and had no idea he was bisexual untill I happened across some bi mags in his house he "forgot" to put away. I never told any of my other friends and remaind his friend but from a distance.
