Nice stuff Mark. You can probably get between $800 and $2500 (depending on the painting)at a local juried show, which is all I'm familiar with. What do the galleries suggest?

Hey Mark,

I really like your works! You should work up a cost estimate for each painting. Use a balance of estimates, as a minimum acceptable price. The balance would be the sum of different estimates, divided by the number of types of estimates. These are only suggested methods of pricing.

Estimate 1. (Cost times 2) + (hourly cost)
Estimate 2. Sale price of similar painting + (added costs to produce
Estimate 3. Gallery estimate (get them from a legitimate gallery)
Estimate 4. Art Auction sale prices

So, add (in this case) the price estimate from all 4, then divide by 4. Each of the estimates should be close anyway, if they are, you will know your prices are good.
