I can give you all the stats in the world but it wont prove a thing. Though I dont support them I gotta say that Man U is the most respected team. They have Alex Ferguson and feew would ever argue that he is one if not the greatest.
Yes they are a classic team and when you say their name anywhere in the world the odds are good that someone will know them.
Opposition always have a tough task if they face them and can expect a hard but passionate game.

Real Madrid. They are the most successful club in Europe and with a total of 9 Champions League titles (If I'm not wrong, but I knew they won the most titles in the Europe's premier competition) in the bag, who else can beat them? But their glorious days are over and it was only because of their rich finances that kept the club alive.
What's with all the world-class players gathering there? I don't see them making an impact or winning any trophies in recent times.

You forgot Celtic!!!! There fans can travel anywhere in the world and never cause trouble. They have also won fans of the year once i think so they gotta be respected for that. And also the tribute they paid to the former Benfica player (i forget his name sorry) with the big jersey. So in my opinon Celtic fans and celtic as a club are the most respected.

Manchester United or Real Madrid. Real Madrid has won 9 or 10 UEFA Champions League but the Manchester is a classic team in England & Europe, and they have lost less than 10 times in their stadium.
