STEP 1: Put ice cubes in a plastic bag and cover the wax until it hardens.
STEP 2: Gently scrape the excess using a spatula or a spoon. STEP 3: Set your iron on low heat. Place a brown paper bag without any writing or designs (the ink may transfer to the carpet) over the stain. Press the iron on the bag for no longer than a couple of seconds. Keep iron heat low so carpet fibers don't get scorched.
STEP 4: Repeat and replace the bag as necessary until the wax no longer transfers to the paper when heated.
STEP 5: Blot with dry-cleaning fluid until color is no longer being removed. (Use cleaning solvents sparingly to prevent damage to carpet backing.)
STEP 6: Blot with a solution of 1/4 tsp. dishwashing liquid and 1 cup (8 fl oz/250 ml) warm water to remove all traces of cleaning fluid. Rinse and blot dry.
hope this helps. Good luck with that..cheers

There have many ways here!!!
1. For the candle wax on the carpet you need to put down paper towels over the wax, and run your iron over that. i.e., melt the wax and blot it up with paper towels. Remember to change the paper towels as the wax is absorbed. This information came from a carpet cleaner.

2. Try putting an ice pack on the spot and that should freeze it so you can pick it out of your carpet.

3. I had success in removing red wax from beige carpet by folding several white paper towels over the wax area and applying a warm iron to the paper towels. As the wax melts the paper towel absorb the wax. You may need to change the paper towels several times to get up all the wax. My carpeting is beige again!!!

4. According to a pamphlet I have left from our carpet cleaning business, scrape off excess wax with a dull knife. Lay a paper towel over the wax and with a blow dryer, blow hot air on the towel. The heat will melt the wax and the towel will absorb it. Clean with a solvent cleaner (like De-Solv-It) if a spot remains.

5. This is for the person with a pool of WAX on the new wall to wall CARPET. I found this in a book titled: Talking Dirty with the Queen of Clean by Linda Cobb. Put ice in a plastic bag and lay it over the wax, allowing it to freeze. Chip off all the wax that you can. Next, lay down brown paper over the wax (a grocery bag works great; use the area without the writing) and press with a medium / hot iron. Move the paper as it absorbs so that you don't re-deposit the wax on the carpet. Have patience and continue as long as any wax shows up on the bag. Next, apply a good carpet stain remover.

Hope u lucky!!!

place brown paper over the wax and place a hot iron on top. make sure it does not touch the carpet. hold down for about 10 seconds and then remove the brown paper and the wax should be gone. If you o not have brown paper, kitchen roll is a good substitute but you may need to repeat the process a couple of times.

Place some brown paper over the wax (absorbent side down) and iron over the paper with a hot iron (keep the iron moving). This should lift the wax out of the carpet and into the brown paper.

Hi
There is two ways to remove wax from carpet.

1/ Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can .Use a dry clean white terrycloth place it over the wax spot then heat it with a iron on low setting because most homes have polyester carpet, and if the iron gets too hot, it'll melt the carpet. Keep checking the spot every ten seconds or so, moving the terrycloth so that a clean spot is on the carpet.

2/ Which is the better way. Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can Heat up a full kettle of water and pour it slowly on the carpet at the same time with a wet vac vacuum up the water. Keep on doing this until the wax is removed.

Very carefully! No seriously you take either brown paper or blotting paper, lay it over the wax and then with a moderate iron heat the paper and the wax should melt onto the paper. Not too hot an iron or you will burn or melt the carpet as well. Good luck.

Let the wax harden, then scrap off the excess with a dull knife.

Place part of a paper bag, a sheet of newspaper, paper towels, or a clean cloth over the wax.

Using a warm iron, press gently on the paper bag. Be careful not to leave the iron in one place too long or you may burn the carpet fibers.

The paper bag will soak up the melted wax.

A brown paper bag and a fairly hot iron. Put the brown paper bag on top of the wax and then press down the iron on it. The paper will absorb the wax and your carpet should be as good as new.

A good way to do this is to heat up an iron to full heat and then switch it off. Place brown paper (a folded out envelope will do) over the wax and then iron the paper. The wax will soak into the paper.

You will need a fair bit of paper, depending on the amount of wax, as it tends to spread quickly through the paper.

Good luck :)

I had this same problem a few months ago. I had red candle wax on my beige carpet. I took SHOUT Ultra Gel (found on laundry isle with other laundry pretreaters) and used it just like I would on a shirt or pair of pants. Got the stain out and I just tried to find where the spot used to be and had no luck. Just be careful not to rub too hard or you'll wear out your carpet fibers.
