I bought those 5 cm led lights for my fish tank, they go underwater in the bottom of the tank but they keep turning round. How can i glue them into a fixed position (not permanently). Would blue tac work?

well if its going in your tank I think you should try aquarium silicone - its basically regular silicone, but without any anti fungal stuff in it. You can by DIY stuff but you have to be sure that it is only pure silicone, nothing else. It's more permanent than what you want, but I reckon you could pick if off when you're done and want to un-stick them again. Not to mention, and most importantly in my opinion, its most assuredly not going to bother your fish with any nasty chemicals.

I peronsally am very careful about what I put in my tank so I wouldn't risk the blue tack - I don't know how much it would work under water anyway. My guess is that it would eventually break down. However, I'm unsure on that.

The only two good options are either suction cups (already suggested) or the weight strips normally used with plastic plants.
