Think up three questions and do a man-on-the-street thing. That ought to prove funny. Title it "Is the American Educational System Alive, Well and Working?"

Sample questions;
1. Can you name the three ships Columbus sailed to America with?
2. Do you have scrupples?
3. Who was William McKinley?
4, What year did 9/11 happen?
5. How much is 5 X 12?
6. Would you eat a dead chicken?
7. Who is buried in Grant's tomb?
8. Can you name just one of the "Wonders of the World?"

How about the British Sausage Appreciation Society. They are definately a bit crazy. Every year they have a Sausage Appreciation Week where they scour the UK for the best sausage sandwich.

This year it was judged by Carol Thatcher (Maggie's daughter). They even give out awards to celebrities that love sausages. I think this year it was Jordan and Peter Andre.

How about something to spur the philanthropists into action....regarding the good working class ( and non-working ) people who save up all year into a christmas fund; so that they can be sure of providing a good celebration for their family at least once in the year; only to be told just before xmas that the company (fairpack hampers) has gone bust.... Recent news without a solution....

How about something funny?

You could make a tongue-in-check documentary about how in the beginning a family of giants went to the beach one day on a picnic. The little kid left his Lego blocks behind and that's how the White Cliffs of Dover came into being.

I've always wanted to write a book about the smugglers from Devon. Especially John Rattenbury. He was a young boy whose father was press-ganged and the two almost starved. He became a fisherman and then a smuggler. He was captured by the French and led them straight into an Englihs harbour - very exciting. He had to dive overboard, they jumped into jolly boats after him, shooting him. The coastguard saved him.
If you want more info, let me know.

What about the fact that parents tell their children not to drop litter. However, they don't make the connection that helium filled balloons are litter if they are launched into the air (as in a balloon race) and then fall back to the ground. Not only are they litter they are a hazard to wildlife and sea creatures particularly that mistake them for food.

Why not examine the famous 'Paul is Dead' Beatles revelation of the sixties? I'm massively interested in the rumours and supposed cover-up and have often wondered why a film hasn't been made of this before.
