Im doing a research about the common phenomenon that can be found in our society right now..its about why filipinos prefered to work abroad rather than to stay here in the Philippines..there's a big question i want to find out which is,"Are we raising a parentless society?" what are the effects of this phenomenon to the children? is there any difference with the effects between the situations if first, the mother is the one who worked abroad and second, what if the father works abroad? how the children adjust with the situation? is there any difference in the behaviour of children whose parents are present with them to those children who have parent/s working abroad?

You are not ready to perfect a society that has almost no industry and can't offer jobs to most of the people.
I'm sure you already know that these people would remain in their homeland if they could manage a decent living for their family.
The political leaders in the P.I. spend most of their time arguing about who is stealing the most, instead of addressing the many problems that are holding back their country.
Why do Filipinos let them get away w/ this?

they work abroad to make a better life for themselves and families...the country (phillipines) I think the poor overwhelm the population...in Asia family ties are strong..aunts and uncles left behind help each other...and some areas....the phrase.."it takes a village to raise a child" holds true.....
