Everything I've heard/read is just a rumor:
1. Arnold Schwartzenegger signed on for T4, but when he became Govenor the contract became void, and T4 was cancelled.
2. They are looking for the lead roll. Considering; Vin Diesel, Michael Clark Duncan, Val Kilmer, Clive Owen, or Halle Berry. I think they are looking for a woman or a black guy for the roll. I guess to show a variety in the different models of Terminators.
3. The movie is suppossed to be out by mid 2008.
4. The movie is suppossed to be out by mid 2009.
5. Terminator 4 is not and will never me a movie, because James Cameron he did not like T3, and will just leave the franchise as a trilogy.
I don't know why you would want to see Terminator 4, the movies just gradually get worse. The first one was my favorite, and I liked the second, but I hated the liquid metal guy.(walking, thinking, intellegent liquid metal is just too much.) And Terminator 3 was just a tragedy.

God, i hope not. Terminator 3 was enough! they needed to stop at Judgement Day! if there was a T4... Arnold wouldn't be the star.
and also think of how much money it would make. less than $10 million for sure! that's the same way i feel about this new Rocky movie. that movie is gonna suck!
and the only people the are gonna bother watching are people with kids asking... "who's Rocky?" then the parents take them to the theaters.

Pointless episode number 4 is due to start shooting in 2007, and should be released in the summer of 2008.
The story of T2 should have closed the door on any sequels, since the people in the present destroyed the "future technology" that the computer guys had been studying in order to create/recreate the technology that would start the future war that hinges the whole plot.
Clear as mud.

Read some reviews on this last month.
apparently the new one is to be filmed early 2007, which will then be followed by number 5. I dont know how long that one will take though.
Number 4 is suppose to be coming out at the same time as Rambo 4.

Yes. And Jurrasic Park 4, and ET 2, and Jeepers Creepers 3, and Scary Movie 5, and a whole bunch of idiotic, medicore sequels rather than original, creative movies.

why would he being a govenor unqualify him for acting? i know a senator who was a actor while in office.
But T4 isnt about Arnold anyway.. Its about the war against the machines after the nuclear war.. no need for arnold to be in it.

Yes, and check out www.imdb.com fr more info ont he movie coz theres a big war going on oh who to be the next termintaor and what the story line should be and what the movie should be named.

i heard they are making a tv series about sarah connor before she died, not sure how its going to tie into the films though
