I have done a serious of P-P plots using SPSS. Some of them follow the line perfectly and some of them curve out of the line. What makes a p-p plot not normal and what makes it normal?

If possible could you answer this as simple as possible - Statistics is not easy for me! Thanks!

P-P Plots are used to see if data follows a given distribution. A fitting distribution for the data will have a linear p-p plot, and for less well fitting models a more curved, function-type shape.
