Winston Churchill warned his people of Nazi Germany. The feeling was relaxed. Leave them alone and they won't bother us.
It's worse to day with Al qaeda. Al queda has no National home base. They want the whole world. And will succeed in taking it if we don't wake up.

Terrorism is a real real threat has been since the 80's thats right 30 years. And all that time...The people of the world screamed at the innocent lives being killed and slaughtered in the name of terrorism. And now finally the USA and England have stood up against the terrorist.
We tried the :how are you today sir? Is there anything you need Mr. Bin Laden....DUH he blew stuff up anyway.
Not until the world gets off its DEAD BEAT A&& and lets the fanatics know we have had enough. There will continue to be 9/11's....What happens when down the road one is a dirty bomb and thousands, reaching up into 10,000 die in a single moment. What then? Maybe we should have asked the terrorists: to let us know ahead of time. So, we can prepare.

Al qaeda is a threat anywhere they reside. The only way to solve this problem is to enact the same laws that governs Australia.
In a nut shell, either become Australian and mind your own business or get the hell out.

Al Qaeda is not only a threat to England, it is also a threat to the whole civilized world. They use dirty and barbaric tactics to kill their enemies (the infidels) and they want to set up Islamic states globally. Yet Europe is now in deep deep trouble. It has also come to our doorsteps now, but if we still don't wake up, it might be too late then!
This is a very complicated problem, but we can try to solve this threat, not necessarily by military means, but by political means.
STOP being POLITICALLY CORRECT, speak the TRUTH, implement tough laws particularly for terrorists or potential terrorists, stand up for the mainstream culture(Australia), refuse to yield to interest groups' unreasonable demand(such as adopting Sharia Law), make it compulsory for immigrants to integrate into the mainstream and accept its culture(Netherlands is trying), stop immigration from terrorist countries and countries that breed potential terrorists and terrorists, implement racial profiling, wiretap and monitor what is being taught in mosques These are only the first steps.
The west must wake up, or else it might be too late!
WAKE UP, particularly POLITICIANS!!!!

The biggest problem for the West is that Al Qaeda has no timetable, no mid term elections, no news pundits questioning it or how previous administrations errer or whatever. They can wait and wait and wait. They will strike again.
There is no approach that will defeat them. We will have to be perpetually on guard. Anyone who would fly airliners into building, blow up innocent people on the tube and commit suicide to kill their enemies cannot be reasoned with. Forever war.

No... or at least they are NOWHERE NEAR as much of a threat as people are being led to believe. It is being blown wildly out of proportion.
You are more likely to win the lottery than be killed from a terrorist attack.
Yet, the government and their lapdog media feeds the public a constant stream of misinformation making them believe that we are under constant threat of attack.
The REAL threat, at least in my honest opinion, is our government. They are certainly milking the Al-Qaeda threat for their own agenda, and people are being conned into giving up their freedoms and allowing themselves to be watched constantly so they can apparently be 'protected' from, frankly, a ridiculously over-hyped threat.
'Those who would give up their liberty for temporary security deserve neither' - Benjamin Franklin

Bin Laden offered a "truce" if we ceased military action. Spain accepted and pulled its troops out, and there hasn't been anoither Madrid.
Of course, if there wasn't a self inflicted terrorist threat anymore, we would keep our civil liberties.
It seems quite obvious who hates our freedoms. It's not the terrorists (freedom fighters?).

As long as people want to view radical Islam as just another religion, and as long as any who voice dissent against the agenda of radical Islam are viewed as "racist," we are all in big trouble.
They do not assimilate, they insist on special treatment. Their plan is world domination, and it looks like they might achieve this goal.

Yes, but Blair just follows Bush who's best approach is to use force, probably because he is incapable of negotians, so we are screwed!
