well since I wouldn't know one without the other being present, this is a tough question to answer. My knee-jerk reaction is to say "pleasure".... although given my current relationship, I'm sure I don't prefer that right now. In fact, if I suffered from more consistent pain, I would have an easier time making such an extremely difficult decision. But I do have a *smidgen* of pleasure (albeit not the kind I crave or need) so it makes it a little harder for me to ultimately do what's necessary. hmmm... to answer the question, I guess I would say in an ideal relationship I would desire more pleasure.... but in my current situation I would prefer pain so I can move on with my life... and finally be content.

I have had too much pain in the last week and don't ever want any more. I will opt for pleasure all the time.

I seem to like "intensity" in a relationship. I always strive for intense pleasure but I suppose I'm guilty of thriving on intense pain more than an absence of any sort of feeling.

a little bit of pain makes the pleasure go down that much better.....wink
That is why it is good to remove your teeth at all times.....lol
But in general, pleasure is more rewarding whether giving or receiving.
