There has been never a woman President or Vice-president, in USA. This the first time in last 400 hundred years history, the first Woman Speaker will take-over in January, 2007. Of all their equality talk, this is a shameful record. It is same with colored people too. Till now, no one has held high constitutional posts. They can only preach.

There's never been a us female president. I think ppl either love or hate the Clintons in general, and Hilary in particular (just look at the answers u get). It seems unlikely that she'll be president because her profile is too high and linked to Bill Clinton's presidency, plus she gets attacked by the far left of her party and basically the entire right which leaves her with not a lot of support and consequently Independents would hear mostly negative things about her and probably be hard to sway in her favour.

No I think Senator Hilary Rodham Clinton carries too much political baggage right now to be elected President.

And no, there has never been a woman US President.

The closest opportunity a woman has come to being in White House was when Geraldine Ferraro ran as the Democratic nominee for VP in 1984. She and Senator Mondale the Democratic nominee for President lost to Ronald Reagan.

It seems she has all the qualities and initiatives to become the first women President of US. The very fact that so far US was uanble to bear a women as its head of the government, exposing the very `liberal' and `free' society of the richest nation.

Hillary Clilnton's magnamity in absorbing his husband's infamour affairs with his staff member and raising to the occasion giving hope she would give matured leadership to the US and also the world.
