Hi People,
I've only been married for 2 weeks and my wife maybe pregnant. She has been on the pill 2 months before we got married and she has been taking the pill as she should be and her periods have been on time etc up until now. I did not use a condom the very first time we had sex and it was very uncomfortable for her as this was her first time so we did not have sex for about 4 days as it was very painful for her. during those 4 days, my wife forgot to take the pill so i've been using a condom since then but now it has been 2 days since she has missed her period. this is quite a worry as we both would love to be parents but this is just too early than we ever expected. what are the chances that she is pregnant? can you tell in the 2 weeks? are there any other factors which would delay a period? i know the best thing to do is to buy a prenancy test kit but she doesn't want to know whether or not she is pregnant.

it could just be the pills that she messed up on, but then again she could be pregnant. you say that she doesn't want to know if she is pregnant, that doesn't sound too responsible if you ask me. if she is she needs to get on a prenatal vitamin and folic acid immediately. I think you should talk her into doing a test. Good luck!

Do not worry yet. It is best to know whether she is pregnant or not, even if she doesn't want to, because you may be worrying about nothing! The best thing to do is find out, then go from there. Perhaps you could ask a relative for help? If you were using contraceptives than the chance of her being pregnant is slimmer, but you should find out anyway. 2 days shouldn't be enough time to worry, 2 weeks could, yes.

The fact that she has missed a few pills, is probably the reason why she has missed her period. Stress can also do it........

When finding out about pregnancy you usually need to wait 3 weeks after unprotected sex, she would then need to take a urine sample or blood test with your GP, that is the only logical way of doing so.....

It is really hard to say. It is not unusual for a woman to be two days late on her period...especially with so many things changing in her life. I know it is killing you to know, but you need to wait a couple more weeks. She then needs to take a pregnancy test. The ones they have out now are so easy to use. If she is...great! except the responsibility. Children are a blessing and can bring the relationship with your wife to a whole new level. If not, my advice is to try to wait at least five years to have children. Spend time enjoying your new life together before adding on to your family.

Because they date a being pregnant from the primary day of the final menstrual cycle that's mainly two weeks earlier than ovulation and viable notion. Don't fear, the youngster is yours. I'm 19 weeks pregnant and conceived on May fifteenth so your spouse is mainly 18 weeks along side a gestational age of sixteen weeks.

I would say her periods are messed up because she didn't take her pills. She should have sugar pills that she takes for her period to start. She could be pregnant, but messing with the days she takes her pills is more likely.

a women is allowed to have a late period. But if she doesn't have a period within 2 weeks of missing it there is slight possibility that she maybe pregnant. the best thing is to get that pregnancy test done.

I think that it is probably more due to the stress of thinking that she may be pergnant, and also, adapting to married life.
Don't worry about it yet, she might just be delayed :)
