I would say thats it's because there's some many greedy fools in the world who are easy targets for them

becuase the world is filled with idiots - just check out how many ppl ask if emails about massive lottery wins are real, when they arent even enetered in the damn thing. (under gambling section of answers)

i don't understand the question well... are the scammers the problem or the fools that get scammed?
i think the scammers are the problem.... i am always astounded at the lengths of dishonesty that people will go to to make a dollar.
this one site i found on the net was selling an e-book of copyrighted work that had been published free on the internet... he was passing it off as his own work, calling himself a doctor with years of experience on the subject and wanted to charge people $25. he hadn't even bothered to change any of the writing... it was literally word for word!!!! ouch! that really is greed and dishonestly as it's worst. i'm sure there are worse stories out there... the people doing it must be sick inside... sick of themselves.
i'd also just like to point out that the people who get scammed are usually poor, desperate people.... this doesn't automatically make them stupid. i think that is what makes it so sick really. the scammers know this and are quite happy to take money off poor people. if they where robin hoods, i don't think people would care so much, but they aren't, they are just dirty little thieves.

Becuse there are so many Jerks (i can think of better words for them, but none that won't be blocked out) in the world who see all the vrunurable people in the world simply as targets. Its an easy way for them to make money whitout doing any real work.

dont think greedy fools just some people can be taken advantage of by greedy scammers. i know a few old people who this has happened to and lost all their money because they were seeing only the good and trusting people

Becasue they dont want to do anything else but rip people off, the longer they get away with it the longer it will go on, they will strive for a higher goal. i dont think all people are easy targets, i have just had to call the bank as someone had cloned my hubby's card and debited out of our account, we obviously cancelled it straight away and got our money back but just goes to show that nothing is safe, even with chip and pin!

Because there are many easy targets who aren't very bright. And they don't care about their karma. It has been so in he world for centuries. Just don't get scammed yourself, but laugh at those naive enough to be scammed.
