When you travel overseas, it's best to be flexible. There is no halal certified restaurants in Vietnam. So, just order your favourite chicken, beef, or vegetable, meal from an English speaking restaurant, and you'll be fine. If you are going to be picky about the halal thing, it's best not travel to Vietnam.

U can check Indian Restaurants like Alibaba, asoka,tandoor,saigon indian in HCMC and Tandoor,Nisa, Khazana in Hanoi.

i know 1 restaurant in Ha noi call: NiSa Restaurant at 90 Nguyen Huu Huan street, Hoan Kiem dis.

There are some in HCMC [saigon].i am unsure what they are called,but they are all in the same area.
i have made a few inquires and they are in district 1,thats also where most of the hotels are.
