Is the above Processor a 64bit Processor?

Does above Win XP version support 64bit processing?
The laptop I'm lookin says It's MS Vista Capable. I kno Vista is a 64 bit OS. So is this a 64 bit machine?

How does running 64bit applications in this machine affect, performance wice? is it better to stick in to 32bit applications or is it really ok to go 64bit on this machine?

Yes it's a 64 bit chip.

XP can handle 64 bit (partially)

Applications that are optimised for 64bit computing will run faster. Those that aren't, won't.
