Homosexuality is illegal in Tanzania and many African countries. You will not findan openly gay spot in Dar. The community shuns homosexuality since it is not part of the popular culture. Anyone who is gay is culturally discriminated in open circles.
However, it ihas become a reality, that in some areas people talk about it alot and its easy to find a gay person around. try places like magomeni mapipa, magomeni mwembe chai, kinondoni muslim, kinondoni shamba. those are some places in the city that you will find gay people.

Homosexuals have no place in Tanzania and all you freaks will go to hell!!! No kidding ;-)
Not sure but have your tried googleing for gay clubs? I am sure once you find one you would be able to ask there for some more… romantic areas. Have fun mate!
