Depends on whether you still intend to keep in touch with your kids if you walk out on them, if so that is far less selfish.
Killing yourself is one of the most selfish things you can do, whether you have kids or not. Sure, the pain stops for you, but that's where it starts for everyone that loved you.

Both are selfish. Having a family, especially children, is a lots of sacrifice. If you have any problems, settle them properly with or without any professional help then go back to your commitment. If you leave your kids, they'll suffer and be terribly sad. If you commit suicide, they'll end up worse. Life isn't about running away from your problems, but face and settle them. Your kids NEED YOU completely. Most of their future is in YOUR hand, because you're their MOTHER whom they love and need.

Suicide is the most selfish thing you could possibly do; besides, you're worth more than an obituary. If you are having the level of problems with family life that you obviously are, LEAVE AND SEEK HELP. There is nothing wrong with that; if you die, your child or children will blame themselves, and you don't want that. If your marriage is that stifling, give yourself an exit strategy and counseling options. If you can't afford it, check with your local Mental Health Department; there are counselors that are on a sliding scale and can help you. Don't give up and don't suicide; you are worth so much more than that.

It is less selfish to leave. Suicides often leave loved ones feeling guilty. Especially if relationship problems were a factor in the suicide.

Sweetheart, please don't do either of these things, and definately not the last one. Commiting suicide is much more selfish, and would devestate everybody. If you leave your spouse and children though, it could still work. You could see your kids when you wanted to if possible.
and if you don't wnt to see your kids then yes, I would say you are a selfish person, but you can't help what you are.
Follow your heart, but don't destroy other peole around you, if you are going to leave, make it as painless as possible for your children.
Good luck, please, please email me, I can help you out.

They are equally selfish. Either way you'll destroy your kids' lives and turn your back on your commitment and responsibility to your children. I am not as concerned about your spouse, but I am assuming your original arrangement was to raise those children together.
