It annoys me that it's frowned upon to call someone 'fat' but there is no problem criticizing skinny people. Some people are just naturally that way.

Which 'society' do you belong to? Are you American? Australian? English? Or do you mean "global society"?

Do you see fat women in refuge camps in Kenya as they starve to death? How can a person be 'naturally' fat in that environment?

Society definitely looks down on fat people and envies skinny people. Saying someone is skinny is generally meant as a compliment and is more acceptable than calling someone fat, because that's generally considered an insult. That's why one is more accepted than the other.

If you ask me, people should mind their own business and stop criticizing/judging people for their weight. Constantly listening to comments about your weight can drive you nuts and often breaks down people's self confidence and low self confidence means people are less able to tackle the problem successfully. Not to mention that some people simply can't help it they're skinny/fat.

Society is way too obsessed with weight.

I'd say fat people. Being thin in today's society is desirable, even if it means being anorexic. Most people, even as they insult a skinny person, will secretly be jealous. Perhaps not of their bodies, but of the way people treat them - in general, skinny people have more friends and respect.

Fat people, however, have nothing to be jealous of. Obviously it doesn't look wonderful, they often have poor health, and they are treated like ****. So when a fat person is insulted, everyone knows what it is: just plain cruelty.

So yeah. Definitely fat people.

I think society (at least in America) tends to be hateful toward fat people and jealous of skinny people. That's why there are so many anorexic teenagers walking around. They understand that being skinny is more desirable, despite your feelings that skinny people are so badly criticized.

i do no longer think of you have any concept why we dislike "fat" females. A fat females isn't healthful. They have been given fat by employing ingesting extra effective than their interest used. this is 3 character flaws, all and sundry of which, may well be sufficient to steer away from the "fat" female. First is over ingesting and ingesting risky nutrition. 2nd is a loss of interest. Slothful, lazy, human beings over weight or no longer, are applicants for heart issues and different ailments at any age. 0.33 they have examined a loss of self appreciate, that i might require, even in a one-evening- stand. Athletic and toned females are particularly eye-catching. Muscle builder types are needed by employing some. Muscle builder form females are fantastically uncommon too. youthful, gentle, pink, women, with some toddler fat left to fill in the low spots, are the norm for Hollywood attractiveness. they are no longer the norm for the traditional guy.

I think fat people get more flak than thin people. Besides, I've seen people watch fat people pass by and make a joke out of them or secretly smile or suppress laughter. I've never seen them do it to skinny people...lol. From my observance, fat people get more crap talk from others.

If anyone HATES anyone for being FAT or SKINNY, that usually means they are the opposite of what that other person is.

I would say skinny people. Perhaps its because I'm fat. I did know w woman who was offended by being called 'skinny.' I said once to her, "I wish I was as skinny as you."

She replied very harshly, "I'm not skinny! I'm tall!"

Skinny people don't increase health insurance costs and then complain about smokers. BTW, I quit smoking and started running to lose weight. If you're fat, quit whining about it and go for a run.
