I have got one week off in the middle of May. I have visited New York - and am thinking of visiting either Toronto, Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta or Austin. Can anybody tell me the best and why they think that?

San Diego how can you beat the beach. And San Diego also has tons of other attractions like San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Balboa Park, Coronado Island, and many many more. Its slightly more touristy then Los Angeles but is still within driving distance of it if theres something in particcular you want to see.
Anyways of the cities you mentioned i dont see why any of them are intresting at all and Dallas and Austin are going to be too hot in May. Even Vegas would be way better then any of those. If you can afford it Hawaii or Mexico.

Toronto is a wonderful place to visit! I was there in May of 2005 and had a great time. I visited Niagara Falls...a never to be forgotten experience. The Art museum was very nice and also the Rogers centre which can be seen from the top of the CN Tower, which I also visited. I was lucky as I have family in Toronto....the main thing I found there was the optimism of the people...it is invigorating. Oh yes, the Toronto University is well worth a visit too. Have a great time!

Canada every time! The people are warm and there is something for all tastes. Parts of Canada are like going back in time, to what I imagine Britain was like fifty years ago, and others are fast clean cities. Have a great time! A whole week in one city may be quite a long one, how about two places?

Canada is beautiful and Toronto has loads to see and is a lot more friendly in my opinion than New York! There's an Island just off Toronto you can get a boat to and hire bikes whilst you're there

Toronto didn't leave an everlasting impression on me. I was delighted in Canada, by Montreal, and in the USA , I loved Boston and on the west coast, San Diego.
