Just be sure you only deal with local people, and ask for cash. There are a lot of fake money order and cashiers check going around. I've had good success buying and selling as long as you are careful. With something that large, selling it on ebay would be a big hassle for shipping and packing it.

You can also check and see if your local newspaper offers free online classifieds, some do and only require payment for printed ads. Just depends. Also if there is a community website for your city, like here in AZ we have AZ central. Where you can post classifieds for free. Just depends on where you live, but it's worth looking into!

It might not be for you because the buyer will most likely come to your home.
