They add together a total of 108, part of a TV show Lost, also part of the Valenzetti Equation which predicts how many years and months before the end of humanity on earth

4+8+15+16+23+42= 108, the calculator and my own math says it. So does it say on the show, 108 is everywhere, like the minutes in the hatch or the time when Shannon's dad died was 1:08. I don't get what your getting at.

The number of times each season I've wished the Lostaways would frickin' TALK to each other! That's the weirdest thing about it, in my mind, and makes me often go off in my thoughts about the survivors being computer programs, like in a video game.
Maybe The Numbers is the player count.

They're the numbers from the tv show "lost". It makes 108 which isn't a prime number.
