The Harry Potter books are probably one of the most successful series ever written. I think that Daniel Radcliff is famous for the character that he plays. He is awesome as Harry Potter. He appeals to most of the fans of Harry Potter as well as others who have never read the books.

i think once the hype of harry potter goes down he wont get another big acting job cause no studio will take him because everyone will think its harry potter. he should just stay with harry potter till it ends cause he is like one of the richest kids in britain and he will never have to work again.i say good on him one character made him filthy rich.

yeah i think the majority of the fame is has achieved is a result of harry potter...that ain't shabby
I heard he's moving to the theatre in "eqqus" this spring so we'll see about those acting chops

As far as I know he was an unknown schoolboy before being cast as Harry. I dont think he even had a real audition!
